Code of Conduct and Tips for New Members

  • Be Ready for Class
  • Hair must be up and out of the face.
  • Only class participants and coaches allowed in the gymnastics area.
  • Please do not talk to your child while they are participating in a class. Distractions may result in serious injuries.

Students are expected to come to class on time, wearing a leotard and hair pulled back. Fitted athletic shorts may be worn over leotards. Shoes and socks are not allowed during class. Students should bring a water bottle to class. Because students will be using a lot of energy during class, they should have a nutritious, light snack about an hour prior to class (fruit with nuts, yogurt, etc.) Please don’t drink too much water near the start of class as it can cause cramping.

Parents are not allowed to sit near the gymnastics area during class time. They can walk their children over to the gymnastics area and may sit at the front of the building or workout at the gym, and walk back over to pick their child up once class is over.

Appropriate Attire:

Gymnastics leotard or fitness shorts and a fitted top.

Cheer and Tumbling Sessions

While we are currently not scheduled to offer cheer and tumbling classes specifically at The Foundry, we do offer small group coaching and private instruction. If your child is looking to try out for their cheer team and want to be ready or if they need help with the fundamentals or improvement overall, then these sessions can help them achieve their goals.

Private sessions can be scheduled in advance and small groups of up to 4 children at a time are available upon request. Each participant must show up to their session on time and have all of the required equipment and attire ready at the start of the allotted time. We have changing areas available nearby as well as a locker area for storing belongings during the session.

Cheer Team Training

If you are a coach or parent looking for an external facility for your team to learn to perform cheer and tumbling better, or if you would like to consider competitive cheer as a team, we would be happy to discuss that with you. Please contact us for more information.
