Gi and No-Gi BJJ Classes
In our adult classes, we offer both gi and no-gi options. Gi classes involve training in a traditional BJJ uniform, while no-gi classes are done without the uniform. Both types of classes offer unique challenges and benefits.
In our gi classes, students learn to use the traditional uniform to their advantage, using the collar, sleeves, and pants to control their opponent and execute techniques. This style of BJJ is often called “the chess of martial arts” because it involves strategy, tactics, and technique.
No-gi classes, on the other hand, are faster-paced and more dynamic. Without the uniform to grab onto, students must rely on different grips and techniques to control their opponent. This style of BJJ is often used in mixed martial arts (MMA) competitions and is a great way to improve your overall grappling skills.
For kids, we offer gi classes that are tailored to their age and skill level. Our instructors are experienced in working with children and are committed to providing a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment. BJJ is a great way for kids to improve their physical fitness, learn self-defense skills, and build confidence and self-esteem.

Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Our youth BJJ class is available for children 9 and older. In the class, the children are taught at the same standard that we expect for our adults and each child works over techniques as they progress in their ranks. Any student is capable of competing in jiu-jitsu and submission grappling tournaments but competition is not a requirement to be enrolled in the course.
Teen / Adult BJJ
While Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu does not include striking in it’s curriculum, it is a very competent form of self-defense that is useful for all sizes of grappler. Our teen and adult classes include men and women from a multitude of ages and sizes and we have grapplers of every belt level to grapple and train with.

1 on 1 Brazilian Jitsu Classes
If you are interested in private instruction instead of group training, we can schedule personal classes for 30 minutes or 1 hour sessions. These sessions are based on the availability of our instructors, so contact us if you would like to inquire about the available times for private instruction.
