TaeKwonDo can be literally translated “the way of the hand and foot”. A Korean martial art requiring both mental and physical discipline, Tae Kwon Do teaches balance, poise, self-confidence, and concentration. Properly taught and practiced, Tae Kwon Do is a nonaggressive and ethical system of self-defense. Rooted in self-discipline and courtesy, Tae Kwon Do cultivates fitness of body, mind, and character. Our mission is to provide traditional Korean Tae Kwon Do to the families of Beaufort for the betterment of the individual, the family, and the community. We aspire to cultivate fitness of body, mind, and character in each student through the instruction of Tae Kwon Do in a disciplined, positive, Christian environment.

TKD Class Information
We have classes for kids 3 years old and up and for adults through advanced. We recommend attending at least two times per week for best results, but tuition includes unlimited belt-appropriate classes.
Classes Include:

• Warm Up Exercises
• Drills
• Fundamental Hand Techniques—Punches and Blocks
• Kicks
• Forms/Katas (Except in the All Star Program)
• Self-Defense Techniques
• Demonstrations
• Cardio Workout

Class Schedule:
Classes for 3 – 5 year old children meet Monday and Wednesday from 4:15pm – 4:45pm
Classes for 6 years and older, teens and adults meet Monday and Wednesday from 5:00pm-5:45pm
